registration for Fall 2021 is well underway and classes begin on August 23. Please consult the dates & links below and let us know if you have questions.

| Graduation applications due | August 31 |
| Proposals for Portfolios, Theses, and Dissertations due to ahproposals@utdallas.edu for GSC consideration on October 13. (students submitting proposals on this date will graduate in spring or later semesters) | September 29 |
| Last day for submission of final draft of dissertations, portfolios, theses to all members of the supervising committee. Students who do not meet this deadline will not graduate this semester. Two weeks before final day to request defense. | October 14 |

- Please email ahgradregistration@utdallas.edu for: Independent study and field exam preparation web form questions and registration for dissertation proposal and dissertations hours. To register for dissertation proposal and dissertation hours, send an email request from your UTD email account. Due to FERPA and UTD policy, we are unable to reply to non-UTD email inquiries and requests. It would also be helpful to include “Registration Request – Fall – 2021” in the subject field of your email. This will avoid delays and oversights when it comes to time-sensitive registration requests.
- Please email ahfieldexams@utdallas.edu for: Field exam paperwork and questions regarding field exams. Field exam forms have been updated to reflect digital signatures in place of in-person signatures.

After registration, please check in Orion that everything is as expected and refer to the academic calendar http://www.utdallas.edu/academiccalendar/ for changes, payments, and other deadlines. Note that it is the student’s responsibility to confirm enrollment and withdrawal to avoid late fees or other penalties.
