The Department of English at the University of Central Oklahoma invites applications for a one-year, temporary, Visiting Assistant Professor in British Literature before 1900 to begin in August 2016. Applicants with any area of specialization before 1900 are encouraged to apply. PhD in English required. Duties and Responsibilities:
The teaching load is 12 credit-hours per semester. Primary teaching responsibilities may include British literature survey courses, upper-division and master’s-level courses in any period of British Literature before 1900, and English composition. Additional responsibilities may include serving on master’s thesis and exam committees.
A Ph.D. in hand by August 1, 2016, with a specialization in any period of British literature before 1900.
