Lark on the Park is seeking illustrators to create drawings in white chalk on their large-scale, slate enamel blackboards. They are looking for almost any drawings, including those used for commercial Graphic Design, Newspaper pen and ink, Architecture, Science, Story Board, Mathematics or most any drawing that was commissioned for commercial use. Black and white drawings are due by midnight on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 to be considered. Society for the Humanities Fellowships- Cornell University
Six to eight Society Fellows will be selected to work alongside Cornell staff and Senior Invited Fellows on the 2014-2015 research focal theme “Sensation.” The concept of sensation varies throughout the world, over time, and between people; selected Fellows will work on a topic related to this theme and attend seminars while receiving $45,000 for the academic year. Applicants must have received a Ph.D. degree before January 1, 2013 in order to qualify and applications are due October 1, 2013.
